I found online Foreigners who worked, studied, or lived in China with work visa, student visa or family reunion visa for more than 6 months can apply for China No Criminal Record Certificate. Generally, foreigners with Z (work), X1 (study) or J1 (journalist) visa possessing residence permit who can live in China for more than 6 months can apply for China No Criminal Record Certificate.
But I only lived in China for 4 months, am I eligible for China No Criminal Record Certificate?

As China No Criminal Record Certificate is issued by PCC authority of each Chinese city, and each city has its own requirement(s) which might different from other city slightly (You can find the specific requirements of each city on our web page https://www.beijingesc.com/china-pcc.html).
In certain Chinese cities, No Criminal Record Certificate is available to foreigners who lived in that city less than 6 months. For example, before 1st Dec 2019, Beijing was able to issue PCC to foreigners who stayed in Beijing more than 3 months.
